Police in Treboeth, Swansea (South Wales Police), are investigating vandalism attacks which damaged three speed cameras within a few miles of one another - one attack involving two people who were seen cutting down a speed camera on Llangyfelach Road, Treboeth, Swansea, which was filmed.
That happened in May, and South Wales Police is also looking into damage and vandalism to cameras in the nearby Clydach and Pontardawe areas between October 2023 and April 2024.
The speed cameras were strategically placed along concerned routes where there had been a history of high speeds, and often led to serious crashes & fatalities.
